Absolute Mexican Cornbread

1 cupButter
1 cupSugar
4 largeEGGS
1 15-oz canCreamed corn
2 ounceGreen chilli peppers; drained
1/2 cupMonterey jack cheese; shredded
1 cupAll purpose flour
1 cupYellow corn meal
4 teaspoonBaking Powder
1/4 teaspoonSalt
1/2 cupCheddar; shredded


11. preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2 2. Beat together butter and sugar. Beat in egss one at a time. Blend in cream corn, chiles, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese.
3 3. In a separate bowl, stir toether flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Add flour mixture to corn mixture; stir until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
4 4. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out clean.
