Cooking the broccoli in chicken broth takes away much of the sourness of the broccoli flavor The almonds add a tasty touch too

|2 cups||Chicken broth|
|2 tablespoons||Butter; melted|
|1/4 cup||salted almonds|
|1||Remove large leaves & tough parts of broccoli stalks.slice thick stalks & place in cold water with remaining broccoli for 10 minutes.Drain well. Cut broccoli into small pieces. Place broccoli in a saucepan. Add boiling chicken stock to a depth of 1 inch.Cover tightly & cook until barely tender,10-12 minutes.Drain.Pour melted butter over broccoli & sprinkle with salt & almonds.|
