|2 cup||Buttermilk; biscuit mix|
|1 1/2 cup||Milk;|
|3 tablespoon||Shortening; melted|
|1 cup||Cranberries; , raw ground|
|1 1/2 c water;||boil; ing|
|1 tablespoon||Butter; (or marg.)|
|1 tablespoon||Orange; rind grated|
|1/2 cup||Orange; juice|
|1 tablespoon||Lemon; juice|
|1||Combine biscuit mix and sugar; stir in eggs and milk. Add melted shortening, mixing well; fold in cranberries. Bake in a preheated waffle baker, and serve with Orange sauce. Orange Sauce: Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt; add to boiling water. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in butter orange rind, orange juice, and lemon juice.
