Crispy Potato Wedges

Serves: 4
Oven temp: 400°F / 200°C / Gas Mark 6
Prep Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 35 mins


4 largePotatoes
1 Oil; can be Olive, Peanut, Sunflower, or any other type of oil
1 OXO cube; You can use any type, but vegetable works best


1Wash and then cut potatoes into large chunky wedges. For best results leave skins on.
2Place pieces onto a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Make sure the potatoes are well covered.
3Place in a pre-heated oven for 35 minutes.
4After 20 minutes take the potatoes out and turn them over, making sure that they are not stuck to the baking sheet.
5After 30 minutes break up the OXO cube and sprinkle over the wedges before returning to the oven.
6After 35 minutes check that the potatoes are cooked by pushing a sharp knife into them.
