Ingredients

1 cupSugar
6 cupsWater
1Fresh lemon; sliced
2 cupsFresh lemon juice; (10-15lemons) squeezed

Method

StepInstruction
1Always wash your fruit before preparing.
2 Heat 2 cups of water in microwave or sauce pan and pour in sugar, stir until dissolved. Set aside.
3 Cut each lemon in half and use either a lemon squeeze or a juicer until you collect 2 cups (16 ounces) of lemon juice and pulp. Remove any seeds.
4 Pour the prepared sugar water, lemon juice, and remaining water into a 2 quart pitcher and stir.
5 Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon slice.
