1 tablespoonmolasses
1 tablespoonbutter or margarine
3/4 teaspoonsalt
1 1/3 cupswhole wheat flour
2/3 cupbread flour
1/4 cuprolled oats; toasted
2 tablespoonsnonfat dry milk powder
1- 1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann Bread Machine Yeast

1- 1/2-POUND LOAF
1 cupplus 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoonsmolasses
1 tablespoonbutter or margarine
1 teaspoonsalt
2 cupswhole wheat flour
1 cupbread flour
1/3 cuprolled oats; toasted
3 tablespoonsnonfat dry milk powder
2 teaspoonsFleischmann Bread Machine Yeast

Method

StepInstruction
1Add ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding molasses with water and oats with flours. (If dough is too dry or stiff or too soft or slack, adjust dough consistency ).
2 Recommended cycle: Basic/white bread cycle; medium/normal color setting. Timed-bake feature can be used.
3 To toast the oats, spread a thin layer in a shallow baking pan.
4 Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring often. If you want to toast enough oats for more than one loaf, just freeze the extra oats
