Takes a while to cook but well worth the wait
Main Ingredient: Rice

|1 cup||Long Grain Brown Rice; raw|
|3 tablespoon||Bacon grease; (or cooking oil)|
|1/2 cup||Onion; chopped|
|1/2 cup||Carrot; chopped|
|1 clove||Garlic; minced|
|1/2 cup||Tomato sauce|
|2 cups||Chicken Broth|
|1||Heat bacon grease on medium heat. Add raw rice, cook until golden brown. Take caution not to burn the rice. Add in onions, carrots and garlic, saute until onions are tender. Add in tomato sauce, chicken broth and salt. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium, cover and cook for approximately 45 minutes or until rice is tender.|
