Old fashioned style rice pudding
Main Ingredient: Rice
|1 large knob||Butter; plus some extra to grease the dish|
|1 pint||milk; use whole milk for extra creamy taste|
|2 level tablespoon||Sugar|
|2 level tablespoon||Rice; white short grain such as Arborio|
|1||Grease shallow dish with butter.|
|2||Wash rice an then put into greased dish with sugar and milk. Dot pieces of the butter throughout the dish, and then sprinkle the nutmeg on the top.|
|3||Place in preheated oven for 2 hours 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.|
